On Saturday, June 11th, the Civic Association hosted a neighborhood jambalaya, with free jambalaya lunches for all residents who paid their 2011 dues. We hope to have many more such events in the future!
Close to 300 residents attended, and got to meet their neighbors and the board members. Everyone had an opportunity to voice their opinion about the opening of Oliphant, and also had the opportunity to chat with Angela Harms, landscape architect for BREC, who was there to present plans for renovating the park.
