July's judges Gay & Jerome Plauche selected the yard of Pete and Anne Peterson on Ridgely as July's Yard of the Month.
Pete features new plants year round in both front and back yards, and has many colorful plants near the street. From the stop sign at Azrok and Ridgely one can view a large shell ginger and purple & gold lantana. The back yard is shaded by large trees and is planted with tropicals and ferns against a dense planting of bamboo in the back. Gravel pathways lead around a unique outdoor living space.
